The Junior C players took to the ice for their first time to play against the newly formed Space Coast Hurricanes Sled Hockey Team on Sunday, November 2nd, at 1:15pm. The Junior C players did surprisingly well against the sled team but were no match being defeated 6 to 5. Sled hockey has made  it's official return to the Space Coast Iceplex. The sled  team has been practicing since the start of this hockey season and is gearing up for scrimmages against Tampa, with the season's goal being a trip to Buffalo in March. Through generous donations from the Mapet Foundation and Statewide Amateur Hockey of Florida (SAHOF), the sled team has been able to provide equipment and ice time to their players. This was a very enjoyable event and the Junior C players wish the Sled Hockey team good luck in their game against Tampa Bay.
