2009-10 ONLINE REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Online registration for the 09-10
season is available starting
May 1, 2009
***As of May 30, 2009, all Players and
Coaches must have a completed 09-10 USA Hockey registration to participate
in on-ice activities.***
All players & coaches are to follow these
steps:
Enter your address (US and Canada). Each participant will
pay the $30 USA Hockey fee and their home state Affiliate fee if there is
one.
Bring, send or email your confirmation page/number to
each Team/Program (Junior ,Youth or Adult) that you participate with.
Go to
www.usahockey.com and
click on ‘register online’.

Information about Online Registration for Junior Teams
When a registration is completed, a confirmation
page/number can be printed. The page is also emailed to the registrant.
Teams can have players send, bring or email the confirmation number/barcode.
Teams do NOT need to keep the confirmation page …you just need the number so
you can enter it in your software. Each confirmation number consists of 9
numbers and 5 letters. All 09-10 confirmation numbers must have a 0 in
the 4th digit.
All August 1 Protected Lists must be created using your team’s Cyber Sport
webpage registration program.
What if:
….a European player doesn’t have access to a computer or have a credit card?
The team can process the registration. Be sure to enter a
US address (team address or billet family). For citizenship, choose ‘other’.
…a player gets here and hasn’t registered yet?
He has to get registered before going on the ice. Can you
provide a computer at the rink? Send him to a library? Or, you can process
the registration for him – make sure to give him a copy of his confirmation
page so he has proof of registration.
…a player doesn’t have a credit card?
He can purchase a Visa gift card or you can process the
registration for him (see above)
…a player gets here and doesn’t have his confirmation page?
He can go online and get a reprint at any time. There’s
an icon on the Welcome page for online registration. Enter last name, date
of birth and zip code and the confirmation page can be printed or emailed
from that screen.
…the team wants to register their coaches?
The team can process the registrations for their coaches.
Make sure to give each coach his confirmation page as that is proof of USA
Hockey registration as a Player and/or Coach for the season.
...I want to know more about Affiliate fees?
Each Affiliate (State) organization can charge a nominal fee. It’s based on
age…some charge and some don’t. All residents will pay any applicable fee.
